The California Unemployment Insurance poster has been updated to reflect several changes to the unemployment insurance, disability insurance and paid family leave sections. The unemployment insurance change states employees are now eligible to receive enefits if unemployed or work hours are reduced due to no fault of their own. Under the disability insurance section, the term disability has been added as a reason an employee may be unable to work and eligible for benefits. The paid family section now states that paid family leave provides wage replacement to workers who take time off work for placement of a child in connection with foster care or adoption. The California Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $11.00 per hour to $12.00 per hour for employers with 26 or more employees, and from $10.50 to $11.00 for employers ith 25 or fewer employees effective January 1, 2019.
