Cook County Minimum Wage Law Poster Outlines Hourly Pay Hike
Effective July 1, 2017, Cook County, IL businesses must display a revised Cook County Minimum Wage poster that explains how the wage rate has increased to $10 per hour for non-tipped workers. The hourly rate will continue to increase by $1 annually until it reaches $13 per hour in July 2019. After that, inflation-related changes will be adjusted by the Cook County Commission on Human Rights. Businesses should display the updated Cook County Minimum Wage poster to avoid costly fines.
