Hawaii OSHA- 1/16/2018
The Hawaii OSHA poster has been updated to reflect the new OSHA employer reporting requirements for accidents and fatalities. An employer must report any work related fatality within eight hours and any work related in patient hospitalizations, work related amputations and any work related loss of eye within 24 hours.
Vermont Accommodations for Pregnant Employees- 1/8/2018
The Vermont Department of Labor has released the new required workplace poster on pregnancy accommodations. The Accommodations for Pregnant Employees poster notifies employees with a pregnancy-related condition that they have a right to reasonable accommodations in the workplace to perform their job.
California Fair Employment- 1/3/2018
The California Fair Emloyment poster has been updated to reflect that employers with 50 or more employees must now provide training for the prevention of sexual harassment, abusive conduct, and harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation. In addition the poster reflects additional expansion of the New Parental Leave Act under the California Family Rights Act under the California Family Rights Act (CFRA).
Colorado Minimum Wage- 12/28/2017
The Colorado Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage rate. Effective January 1, 2018, the minimum wage rate will increase from $9.30 an hour to $10.20 an hour for non-tipped employees and from $6.28 an hour to $7.18 an hour for tipped employees.
California OSHA- 12/27/2017
The California OSHA poster has been updated with new information regarding penalties for violating the state's occupational safety and health laws. The poster now states that penalty amounts depend in part on the classification of the violation.
