San Diego, CA businesses must post the city's paid sick time and minimum wage laws in addition to mandatory federal and state posters to avoid costly fines. Employees in San Diego must be paid a minimum wage of $10.50 until January 2018 when the rate increases to a $11.50. After that, any increases will be tied to the Consumer Price Index. Employers are also required to provide one hour of sick leave per every 30 hours worked.
